The first thing you may notice is that our name has changed from OKAY Electronic Solutions to OKAY Technologies. This was a deliberate attempt to reflect the fact that, since our formation in 1991, our business has changed dramatically. While there remains a strong emphasis on the electronics industry with our range of "PurAir" Fume Extraction & Air Purification Technology, Mantis and Lynx from Vision Engineering and our premier line of soldering and rework systems from OK International, we also have a new focus which includes selected aerosol products and an expanding line of adhesives and sealants under the Chemtools® brand. This has allowed us to enter areas of "general" assembly as well as "after care" markets. Many of the items in the Chemtools range are of our own design, are "Made in Australia" and use raw materials for packaging which are also "Australian Made". In fact, as we progress into the future our plan is to add further manufacturing capacity, at times, through outside "third party" contracts, to ensure we remain competitive and able to react to changing demand, with minimal delay. However, this new policy will not prevent us from searching worldwide for the best possible products for our customers and in this respect we are pleased to announce that we have recently secured the distribution rights to the Nihon range of specialty solders, which are generally recognized as some of the "best in the industry". In addition to new product introductions we have also been working on strengthening our support team. We have added internal sales staff at our Emu Plains, NSW office to ensure prompt response to enquiries and provided additional external sales support in Queensland & Victoria for on site demonstrations and technical support. Also with the opening of our west coast office we are now represented in all States. We look forward to serving you in 2008 and beyond.
